About C-Test Prep
C-Test Prep is a small, independent practice service for the English C-Test used by language centres at German universities. It comes from the team behind onSET Prep, a C-Test trainer for the onSET-Deutsch.

C-Test Prep is an independent practice service. It is not affiliated with any university language centre or university, including the University of Münster. All practice texts are our own; results are estimates, not an official placement.
How the texts are made
- All texts are our own, on general and academic topics. We do not use texts from university demos or exams.
- Gaps are computed by the rule, not placed by hand: the first and last sentence stay whole, and in between every second word loses its second half. One-letter words, numbers, contractions and proper nouns are skipped.
- Every text was checked twice: for correct English, for unambiguous answers and for the stated level. Where two words genuinely fit, both count.
- Facts about universities come from their official pages and link to them.
